My 15 year old has been having several spells: one was she got real sick at stomach and very cold and clamy she went to lunch and eat and she felt better and another example is I showed up at her volleyball game she came up to me and said she felt extremely tired and she was very pale I went and got her nachos and cheese dip and she eat and it gave her energy but her paleness did not return until she eat a full meal after the game. The doctor done a sugar blood test and the level showed 59 and he had another one done without eating AC LEVEL and nurse said normal. I advised her of the spell faith is having throughout the day and she set another appointment. I'm scared and what test should be done further or what could be going on? Please help

  • Yes may have hypoglycemia as in her metabolism is quicker than most. It's nothing to worry about. She needs to have small snacks throughout the day and eat better. (Not nachos and cheese). If needed, she can carry glucose tabs with her and if she feels faint and can't eat she can take a couple of them to bring her blood sugars up.
