Hi, I am a 14-year old male that has a lump on the right side of my chest. the lump seems to be growing over the pass couple days and there is little stinging pain on the left side of my chest. The pain increases when i ever i take a major exhale or when i laugh, when this happens you can see lump more vividly. Also, i am out of breath most of the time like when i walk the stairs in my high school up 2 floors. I had an x-ray done and the results haven't gotten back to my doctor yet, when i saw the x-rays there was nothing that seemed wrong and it looked like everything was good- but I didn't go to medical school for 12 years though! my doctor told me I might have Tietze's Syndrome but some of the symptoms don't fit in and some of my symptoms aren't apart of Tietze. I also have some lower abdominal pain but I don't know if this was anything to do with my chest pain. PLEASE HELP! I have had the lump for about 2 weeks now and the left chest pain is new and the abdominal pain just occured recently as well. Please help I would like to know if there's anything wrong with me.

  • Did you ever get an answer? I have this also, but my lump is on the left lower ribs. I was told by one Dr that i have costochondritis. I had xray and ct scan and they were both normal.
