My sister thought this would be a good idea....so here goes! I have had severe left upper quadrant pain for the past 10 months accompanied by fever 100.5 to 101.5, nausea and extreme fatigue. I have seen 14 doctors and have ruled out the following: pancreatits, gallbadder disease, Cushings, hepatitis and thats it I think. I have had countless labs, nuclear medicine studies, ultrasounds, CT scans and a PET scan. My triglycerides were up to 2000 at one point and my liver is enlarged and fatty due to this. I am so extremely fatigued that I am unable to get out of bed for days at a time. I sleep a minimum of 12 hours and up to 20 hours. Profound nausea and severe LUQ pain that requires pain meds of MS Contin 90mg a day and Vicodin 40 mg a day. I am a critical care RN and have been off work for 10 months. I feel like I am slipping off a cliff and nobody knows how to help. Any ideas?

My best friend, who is also a nurse, is having crazy symptoms very close to what is happening to your sister. Was she ever diagnosed?
