I have been having problems with my arms since Jan 22, 2004. I woke up that day and my left arm was aching and my finger's were swollen. I ended up 5 days later in the ER because the pain got worse. The pain is mainly in my elbow but extends down into my hand, where that causes aching and swelling. I have had 2 rounds of Physical Therapy, 3 injections in my left elbow (with no relief), a nerve block, Ultra Sonic therapy, 3 rounds of Prednisone and have taken Ultram, Lidocaine patches and several different types of pain killers. I now ice my arm down till it goes numb and just take Ibuprofen to help with the aching, which it really doesn't help that much. After 6 months of problems with my left arm my right arm started showing the same symptoms. My hand doesn't swell on my right arm but the pain in my elbow is there. I have been told that it is possible RSD, Golfer's Elbow and even MS. I have now started having problems with my left ankel, with pain and some swelling since last year. I have no insurance at this time because I had to find a job, as an Independent Contractor, where I could take breaks often. After 10 Dr's I am just wanting an answer. I hope someone can please help.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
