  • Well now, he has a few different things going on. He's having a bad reaction to the ritalin. If you take it and don't need it, it's going to make him hyper...well...it's like meth...so I've been told...what was his original pain? Stomach..has everything been done medically possible???..now he's hook on these pain meds, so he needs to balance his chemistry to regain control of his life instead of the meds and the pain controlling him. For him, I would suggest a different approach, like Self-Realization or meditation, hypnosis and bio-feedback. He can make the decision to live this way the rest of his life or train his brain to respond differently. I would also suggest a series of ten acupuncture treatments to get him started. He needs to get a hold of $1000 and invest in his life...the meditation is free, of course. Give him six weeks to the new him. Give a goal and positive energy "You can do it honey..."...get the entire family involved...he needs a cheer leading team and you can be the Captain.

  • I think it's time for rehab...you won't know what the true picture is until he's off all of the meds - and I don't see where he is going to be able to safely withdraw from that amount without some serious supervision. The doctor that got him into this mess should be drawn and quartered.
