Had total hip replacement over 2 years ago. Had some pain when overdoing but last week, I experienced moderate pain in the outside of the thigh when standing or walking. It has now progressed to more pronounced pain when walking and the pain seems to be at the top of the hip. No pain when sitting. Extreme pain when trying to turn over in bed. I didn't have an oh-oh moment when this started. Could this just be something that has to heal like a muscle strain. Have you had a hip fail and what were the symptoms? Hope someone can help! Thanks!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
