I had surgery to correct a herniated disc in my neck-they took bone from my hip to put in my neck. The day I came home I was walking in my room and heard a loud POP and had excruciating pain-broken pelvis at graft site. They say this is rare. I still have chronic pain on weight bearing, sitting too long, walking too far. I was home 3 months with this. Ortho finally sent me for a cat scan this week which said irregularity in both superior and lateral iliac crest. I just dropped off films today for ortho to look at-has anyone else ever broken their pelvis and pain lasted this long? They did not operate-let it heal on its own. Now he is saying maybe malunion of fracture. Too young to live like this!! Thanks for any responses!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
