Can't reproduce the pain for diagnosis

I'm 34 and just about 3 weeks ago acquired a pain in my right hip that feels like it's just below crest of the hip bone and goes around to the butt. Almost like you have been sleeping on your side on concrete. Later my lower back decided to start hurting and then spasming. Now it's pretty much a gambit of symptoms. Some days my right hip muscles in the front feel super tight. Some days it's tight muscles and my back aches right above the butt. Of course the first pain is always usually there. Right now it feels like when you hit your funny bone in your arm, except it's around my hip bone crest.

I've started to do stretches for my hip and piriformis. Who knows if it's doing anything but at least I can tell the specialist I'm seeing at the end of the month something.

The whole problem is, I can't reproduce it. You can push all over my hip/back and not get anything. Things just tighten up around my hip with no rhyme or reason.
