i have got an acetabular (i think thats how its spelt!) fracture in my left hip, i discharged myself from hospital as i was going insane not being able to get out of bed and the lack of sleep not from pain but from surroundings was really stressing me out. the nurses and doctors kept telling me if i walked on my hip (which i had no intention of doing i would rather continue my bed rest at home instead of hospital) then the fracture could move and will be very difficult to correct. how would i no without having an x ray that the hip has moved? would it be like breaking a bone is and u have a sudden rush of pain the moment it has moved or is it undetectable without x ray? i have very little pain, i take 2 paracetamol 3 x a day plus the dvt jabs for blood clots so i would hope that it hasnt moved? i do have an x ray in 1 week to check on my progress but would just like an idea before i go in?
