I'm 24 and have been an active, healthy person, running half marathons now for a year and a half. My last one however on the 15th of September, half way through caused great pain in my right hip. After a week of resting, I thought the usual post marathon pain would have disappeared however still nearly 2 months on, I can't sleep on my right hip, it has just started to wake me up at night as I wake up on that side and am literally stuck, and can't move over. My job means I am on my feet 15 hours at a time and by the end of the shift I am limping and can barely stand up. Last week i discovered a slightly soft lump on the joint and when i put pressure on it, it was extremely painful and sent pains down my right side. Anyone have any suggestions as to what this might be?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
