I'm 24 and have been an active, healthy person, running half marathons now for a year and a half. My last one however on the 15th of September, half way through caused great pain in my right hip. After a week of resting, I thought the usual post marathon pain would have disappeared however still nearly 2 months on, I can't sleep on my right hip, it has just started to wake me up at night as I wake up on that side and am literally stuck, and can't move over. My job means I am on my feet 15 hours at a time and by the end of the shift I am limping and can barely stand up. Last week i discovered a slightly soft lump on the joint and when i put pressure on it, it was extremely painful and sent pains down my right side. Anyone have any suggestions as to what this might be?
