I have gained a tremendous amount of weight over the last few years, I am 5'10 large build and weigh about 255. I have been dealing with alot of what feels like poor circulation in my hands, arms and feet my Dr however said my circulation if fine. All I know is after I am done with a hard day of work and I have time to relax it liturally feels like I have a rubberband around my arm its uncomfortable and unsettling. Whats going on? I notice it much more when I am relaxing.

  • Rapid weight gain, poor ciculation, and tingling at the extremities could be caused by malabsorption condition. If your body is unable to fully process the food you eat, it can store whatever it can get as fat - believing that it is a time of famine. At the same time you gain the weight, your body doesn't deliver the nutrients it needs because its busy trying to save everything for later. This could be caused by a number of digestive conditions: from a food intolerence (wheat/gluten, milk , tomato, soy, corn, etc); from an oddly shaped digestive system; a bacterial and/or fungal infection. Chron's, Ulceritive Colitis, and Celiac's are some of the names given to these causes. You may want to look at Diabetes as well. I'm sure there are other infections and genetic conditions that can cause it as well, but these are the ones I'm familiar with. The more symptoms you can identify, the easier it gets to diagnose.
