I have a young friend 33 that has a history of heart disease History of MI and stents. He complains of having "hot flashes" day or night where he sweats profusely or wakes up soaking wet. He does not have to be exerting himself they just happen. He only discussed with primary who stated this was a common occurrence because of his heart disease. Shouldn't this be investigated further and if so, how?
Worried in FL.

  • MY sister is 64...has end stage renal failure , heart problems(had quad by-pass) and diabetes. she wakes up soaked several times thru the day and nite......with a strong odor. I dont know if the sweating is coming from heart problems ....kidney failure problems or diabetes?????
