I'm 44 and have been to many doctors over the years. Sometimes my heart skips a beat, flutters, races or feels like a record skipping. I have never been refered to a cardiologist, but I've had numerous ekg's done and been told each time that nothing warrants a visit to a specialist. Well, last night after I went to bed and may have fallen asleep I felt a sharp, stabbing pain right under my left breast and then I felt the sensation that my face was very tingly, like I had been slapped very hard. It took a few seconds for me to catch my breath. I took my pulse which was 84 (which is in the norm for me) and didn't feel anymore pain.
