  • Heart attacks can have different symptoms depending on your age and overall health. Generally speaking however, symptoms are chest pain, shortness of breath, indigestion, palpitations (irregular heartbeat), light headedness, nausea, sweating. You may not have all the symptoms. The pain may not be in your chest, it can be in your jaw, left arm or shoulder. All depends on the individual. Even a sense of impending doom can be a symptom. So if you are concerned that you may be having any of the symptoms, better to go to the ER and get checked out than take a chance.

  • A malfuntioning gall bladder can cause symptoms that seem like a "minnie" heart attack. A blood test of your liver enzymes will tell you if this may be the cause.

  • It is most definately possible to have a heart attack without any symptoms at all. They are usually not seen until a routine ECG. They can still be very dangerous. They aren't very common however. Still, it is possible.
