I have high numbers for my cholesterol. I have had an angioplasty several years ago and it proved no blockage or build up of plaque. A new physician wants me on a statin. I have taken them before and they made me ill. Besides I am now educated about how dangerous statins are and how little they actually do to prevent heart attacks. I am not sure what to say without insulting him. I am 71 y/o and starting on curcumin. My appt. is not until September.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
