For the past 8 months I've been experiencing an issue where my heart just beats hard, it doesn't beat fast (typically), just very hard.
The issue came out of no where and since it started I've seen two cardiologists who have given me an EKG, a 24-Hour Holter monitor, a treadmill stress test and every blood test you could think. All tests have come back as normal as can be.
I've also seen a pulmonologist (I have asthma and have for 23 years). I had a breathing test done and was prescribed Advair (awesome med, but that's beside the point) and a second breathing test determined that the Advair helped, but that didn't lead to any sort of relief from the pounding heart.
I am 29 years old and stay in decent shape. I workout and do cardio 5 days a week. I have noticed that since this issue started, when I elevate my heartbeat while working out, it tends to be a bit higher these days that before the issue occurred. I'll also note that I have always had a resting heartbeat of 40-45 bpm which I know is low, but they say it's due to living an active lifestyle.
I am hoping and praying the find someone who has had this exact issue and had found a permanent solution. It's driving me crazy and I don't know what else to do.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and don't hesitate to get in touch!
