My cardiologist has confirmed that my echocardiogram shows no structural abnormality and functions well. The ecg showed left axis deviation -37% and he has tried to reassure me that there is not really a condition here and that I am not at higher risk of heart attack or heart disease in the future. He has ruled out an enlarged heart., heart damage and states my blood pressure of 140/90 is satisfactory. My cholesterol is 5.8 with 1.9hdl that does not require intervention. He added that people with LAD with no underlying heart problems can be reassured not to expect any significant problems in the future.
I have read of people having this condition and a normal life for years.... Any thoughts appreciated, thanks
