What is Wrong with my head?

It has been six days now with a headache. I finally broke down and went to the doctor 2 days ago. They gave me demerol, phenergan mix and within 5 hours I was back in the ER where they gave me Toridol, and Phenergan. I stayed in bed for 24 hours like they said and it still is killing me. They told me it was a mixture of a tension and migrane headache. Has anyone else ever heard of this? It has now been six days, I'm very light sensitive, noise sensitive and I have to get back to my normal routine. Should I see a specialist? Does anyone have any kind of insight?

  • Thank you for your information. I will read the website in full detail. I ended up having the headache for 3 weeks total. Strange, I know. Now I just have periods on and off through the day. Thank you though.
