  • See a neurologist immediately!! Having a headache that long could be migraines or it could be something else. Don't wait for the doctor to believe your pain -- ask for a CT scan. You may have a deviated septum or something else pretty minor, but they won't know until they have some tests to go on. If it is a migraine, narcotics don't work typically. But there are many medicines out there. Keep researching and reading forums. you may find a key word that leads you to ask the right questions of your doctor. Try not to be scared -- this will lead to stress and cause more pain. Be smart about your treatment plan, arm yourself with knowledge, and don't back down! Only you know how you really feel -- be your own advocate!!Take care and good luck!Conni
