Pain In Forehead When I Cough

For the last year, about every 2 months or so, when I cough, even a small cough, I will get a horrible sharp stabbing pain in the center of my forehead between my eyebrows. The pain is almost blinding and won't go away until I take ibuprofen for it. Usually this will go on for about a week, then will not happen again for another two or three months and then will start up again for a week or two and then stop.. etc, etc.
I notice that when I press my fingers on my closed eyes before I cough, the pain is less extreme, but still there. I don't know what this might mean. I would love to know if anyone else has experienced this or can help me..Thank you so much, Tammy
