Migraines with Depression

Does anyone else go into deep depression concurrently with a migraine? I know some people would say I'm depressed BECAUSE I have a migraine, but in my case, the depression begins 1-2 hours before the migraine. I am tooling along just like normal when, suddenly, I sink into a hopeless, deep depression. I think: "What's wrong? I was fine just a few minutes ago." Then, an hour or two later, the migraine visual disturbances begin. I usually have only a moderate headache.

I live with headaches worse than migraines every single day of my life. There is nothing that can be done for the pain. My depression has worsened and is now threatening my marriage.Have you seen a doctor for this condition? If so, has the doctor prescribed a anti-depressant for you? Many people get depressed with migraines or constant headache pain so doctors will often prescribe an anti-depressant which helps tremendously! Please go to the doctor and tell him about what is happening.
