I'm 17. I've never had a headache before, but now i've started getting pressure on the sides of my head and some numbness on my forehead. i wouldn't say these are headaches, because my head doesn't ever really hurt, but it is odd. I'm not sure if this is anxiety-related or has something to do with the amount of time i use the computer, but i am becoming psychologically upset by it. I don't know what's wrong, and I'm afraid i may have some kind of severe condition like an aneurysm or brain tumor and I'm constantly worried. So i'm asking for some input here in an attempt to put my mind at ease. If anyone wants any more information that would be relevant just ask.

Thank you.

If this does not go away after a few more weeks im going to go back to the doctor and demand a scan/bloodtestany other symptoms? I have blocked ears, sore eyes, alot of phlegm and tiredness.

  • 3 things:1- get tested for lyme and mono (it probably isnt this but do it neway).2- ask doctor about tensions HA's- these should not be constant so if your HA is it prob isnt this.3- Research csf leak and see if any of your symptoms fit this. Do u feel better when u lay down? Is your headache constant. When you wake up is the HA not that bad and then gradually builds throughout the day?I have a csf leak and have constant pressure in my head and a stiff neck.Oh and I know I threw a lot at you but dont worry so much!!Anxiety makes everything worse trust me. But at the same time make sure you are informed. A constant HA is not normal and something is going on. Hopefully for you guys it just goes away. That is all.

  • I agree, you should first start by going to your doctor.Write down every single odd symptom you have and make sure you tell the doctor about the symptoms and make sure the doctor does a complete blood work on you to check for lyme disease, etc. That was one of the first diseases I was checked for when I was admitted into the hospital for my headaches in January 08 and after four days in the hospital and countless other blood tests which ruled everything out, I was diagnosed with Intracranial Hypertension. But, I also had MRI's and CAT scans done as well and I had severe headaches and HBP and optic nerve swelling and seeing spots. Write down all that is going on in your life as well.Is there a lot of trauma going on in your personal or work life?Tension? Stress? Missed Periods? Too many periods? Write everything down that is different with your body, not normal and present it to the doctor when you see him and go from there.

Sounds like sinus infection to me.
