I've been having an odd kind of headache and problems with my neck and head for about two months now. In the beginning I had immense head pressure that tended to shift from the right side of my head to the back and then the left. I had a case of vertigo, which is not much of a problem now. The type of "headache" I am getting is not the normal type, where there is pain, but I constantly feel I have a heavy head, which my neck can't hold up. Its feels as if someone is trying to push my head from the top and the back (Which feels irritating). If am doing something I cant feel the ache as much, but simply standing up seems troublesome and tiring and I usually just want to sit down. Also, lately I have had a tightened jaw, as well as a tremor-like (shaking) like feeling in my back. I am waiting for my EEG and CT scan results.

  • I have just started experiencing headaches, thightness and heavy headedness with dizziness. My doctor says it could be high blood pressure but not too sure as my pressure is not too high to be conclusive.I feel relieved others are going through same as me, because I was begining to think I may have somthing really bad. Yes I believe stress and anxeity may have played a big part as I have been under consistent pressure, stress and anxiety in the last 5 months.I will also seek alternative remedies.May

  • I experienced similar headache where it starts in the side s of the head and reaches back of the head and feeling of pushing from front. I brain will black out for a. fraction of seconds and loss of memory and I may sometimes talk without too much control from my brain. I consulted various doctors. I also stomach related gastric problems but I suspect my headaches to be the causes for my stomach problems.Last month my new doctor diagnosed me with sinus and I took medicine and my subsequent x ray and endoscopy showed that I got relief from sinus. But my headaches still continued but I used to have facial pains at my cheeks added to my headaches. Since relief from the sinus, I don't experience similar facial pains but as I said my headaches remained but my stomachs were feeling a bit better. After three weeks since my relief from sinus, I feel a lot better now I also feel that may get final relief from my headaches too. I am not taking any medicines now. After all this I am having a feeling that all my illness was actually due to the sinus. I tend to think that my headaches are after effects of my sinus but surely I feel more energetic now and I can communicate more clearly now that I was a few months ago. Anyone let me know if you have similar experience.

  • Thanks gsk_cae, even I have similar problems as you explained. I was thinking it might be due to not getting enough sleep. I will check with my doctor to make sure I am not going through similar problem

  • I've been having the same trouble for about 6 months now. I also have stabbing headaches occasionally in different places on my head but many times in the right back. There are also times when it doesn't hurt- just feels heavy in the back like if I let go of my other muscles I would fall straight back. I also have a blocked sinus, brain fog, muscle weakness all over. I've had a bazillion tests and so far they can't find any reason for it. If you get an answer, please post so I can look into it too.Thanks.

  • To the person who posted the original post - I have exactly the same problems. Have you gotten any feedback on what is causing your problem? I just went for an MRI of my brain today because this was also causing numbness in my left cheek. The neurologist said to do the MRI as a just-in-case but he doesn't think that's what it is. He thinks the pain and tightness in my neck is causing it but that's just a theory. Please do let me know if you got any further results or info.Thank you!-NY Girl
