I have puffy eyes all the time. It never goes away.I've tried cucumber slices and ice as well. But they haven't worked for me. And I get these headaches whenever i travel by bus or when i use the computer in the afternoon. My eyes feel dry all the time. Is it because I'm on the computer too much? My eyes feel dry when air blows against them. And that leads to a headache too. That's how I get the headaches when I travel. Oh and I wear glasses too for shortsightedness. Does that have anything to do with it? Please help..

  • Your symptoms sound similar to mine. Do you have jumping eyelids as well? Are your lids actually folding over from the swelling?

  • Is your headache in your temples and forehead? With similar symptoms I am being tested for "tempural arteritis" ,an auto-immune disease, which can be very serious if left untreated in that there can be irreversible vision loss? Steriods is the treatment so I am reluctant to do that route until there is a definititive diagnose. I have never been ill in my life or on any meds so would like to try and heal naturally. If anyone else that reads this can suggest alternative treatment please reply. Is this a possibility for you, you can read about it on this site.Another suggestion is Paget's bone disease, where the extra bone being formed compresses the nerves and causes the headache and eye pain. Frustrating and scary at the same time, isn't it?

  • Oh yes Nizra I forgot to mention that using a "Natural Tear " lubricant will give you relief for the dryness. Make sure it is just a natural tear because alot of eye drops treat allergies and alot of other things....side effects as well.
