Hello I am Aaron, about a month and a half ago one day I noticed that on the top right side of my head I was experiencing a very sudden, quick sharp pain that went away instantly. It was doing it all that day, the next few days the quick sharp paing changed to a mild to moderate pain on different spots on my head. I would only experience the pain on one spot on my head at a time. I would feel it all over at different times but it always seemed to come back to the top, back right side of my head. On about the 3rd day, my left top eyelid started twitching off and on ALL day very aggresively. I went to bed that night, woke up the next morning and the twitching had stopped which is good but the head problem was still present at times.
I went to my doctors and he said that the intitial quick, sharp pain I had described was a muscle contraction and it was nothing to worry about, he said that the eye thing was just nerves of anxiety probably. He then did a strength and balance test on me and looked at my retnas and told me that everything looked great. I left that day in better spirits, then days following I came down with the stomach flu for about 5 days. My only symptoms were bad short bouts of diarehea and no appetite, i did feel nautious at times but never had to throw up. The good news was my head issues seemed to go away while I had the flu.
After I was better, I went a few weeks, not really noticing any of the head problems and was happy again. About 4 or 5 days ago though, It came back more noticeable. Once again the pain is all over my head BUT at different times, (I never have more than one spot at a time on my head where I feel the pain.) And once again the pain is brief! anywhere from 1-45 seconds or so I may experience an episode. The pain is mild to moderate so I'm not down and out but I am desperate for answers. My lower left corner of my eyelid feels sort of odd to at times, almost like it's twitching or drooping but when I look in the mirror it looks fine. Please help,
- I have checked into a lot and keep getting nothing, I just dont know, I have scheduled another appointment with my doctor for tuesday, I f anyone out there can help I would greatly appreciate it, Thank you
