Can Meningitis cause migraines over a course of 5 years?

i have the following symptoms regularly once a week or 2 week:

-migraine that is triggered by UV/sunlight. sensitive to loud sounds/light during migraine attack. lasts for about a day

-sometimes if migraine is severe, i get fever symptoms such as chills, sweating, wanting to vomit

-moderately stiff neck for the past 5 years (not so severe that i cannot move, but i can feel it)

my GP says he guarantees i do not have such thing as meningitis or i would have been dead.

what is your opinion?
