Hi, I have been dealing with chronic headaches and neck pain for 1 1/2 years and the doctors that I have seen have YET to figure out what the problem is.
My newest nerologist mentioned pseudotumor cerebri and recommend that I go to an opthamologist to see if I had a swollen optic nerve as that is one of the biggest signs of this disease (so they say). I went today and she said there was no swelling but my optic nerve was "full".
Can you have pseudotumor cerebri and NOT have visual problems? My next step is going to be the lumbar puncture.
I wake up everymorning with a stiff neck and then the headache usually follows.
