Since the start of this year, I have been experiencing headaches and dizziness. This happens when I'm extremely tired. When I wake up in the middle of the night, I cannot open my eyes. Yet, I feel as though the whole room is spinning. Sometimes, i feel myself floating (not literally). I cannot move any of my limbs at all. My whole body is rigid. This usually lasts for 10 - 15 minutes. I'm fourteen. I'm really worried that this might be the start of something serious. I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me figure out this problem. Thanks so much!

  • I have had inner ear problems for most of my life mostly ear infections as a kid & motion sickness, but then in my 20's I began to experience severe vertigo anytime I had to have my head in a down position (as in looking under the bed). This caused me such sickness I'd vomit & the vertigo episode would last for hours to days. After many brain scans & ear tests I was diagnosed with meniers disease and learned to cope with it thru avoidance of things that brought on the episodes i.e: excess salt causes excess fluid in the body & inner ears so I avoided highly salty foods, I avoided quick movements of my head of putting my head down for any length of time. Anyway I went on like this till in my 50's in 2015 I woke up with a more severe case of vertigo as I ever had. I couldn't get out of bed without help as I couldnt feel what was up or down. Dr said it was inflammation of the ventricular nerve & BPPV. The first got better after 3 days of dry heaving, the latter he performed epley menuever
