Hello everyone recently i started having pain in my right jaw which seamed to get worse in the morning and ive gone to my dentist and he told me that i have tmj i also started to have a kind of numbness in the right side of my head if i touch it it feels kinda of sore.

Now my question is could this numbness be related to the problems in my jaw cause im starting to get a little worried about it, not to mention that its downright annoying.

Thanks a lot.

  • I have had really bad tmj since I was 6 yrs old and am now 30 and for the past 2 days have had excruciating pain in my teeth gums and jaw on the right side when I sit or lay down. If I'm standing then its ok but if I touch my teeth with my tongue or if the wind blows on the right side then its back to excruciating pain for up to an hour. I've read and been told that there's a good possibility that it's Trigeminal neuralga. Look into that and talk to your dentist. I have to do the same thing tmw
