1 second blackout

So basically this "1 second blackout" occurs only when I do flips(backflips, frontflips etc.) and such. The weirdest part is that I actually manage to coordinate myself and land a flip just fine and I'm actually doing this for a while. Plus I may feel a bit dizzy or disoriented for a moment and after a day of flipping my head starts to hurt a bit.

Maybe when I do a flip my blood starts to rush thus forcing this to occur? Can this lead to something like brain damage and such?
