I was on my laptop tonight just added some tunes to my windows media player and was typing only a small bit for a moment or two and all of a sudden i got an immense numbness in my little finger and ring finger on the right hand!

I'm wondering if it could be as i'd earlier in the evening been on the laptop for about 4 & a half to 5 hours & when i'm on the laptop i use my right hand & my thumb is usually underneath the mouspad & my hand is kinda in a weird position with my forefinger or index finger on the mousepad & my ring finger and little finger stuck out. (sometimes those fingers can be curled under a little) or could it be due to the extreme cold weather we're having here in the u.k?

Also thought i'd mention i suffer hypermobility syndrome ( i don't know tonnes about it as it wasn't too long ago i was diagnosed) and I have scoliosis (curvature of the spine) I'm often sat slouched forward with my neck kinda bent down.

The numbness was pretty severe for about 5 minutes & spread a bit up my hand now i have a mild numbness up from my little finger and ring finger up my wrist & arm to my elbow and only slightly up my upper arm. (you know almost like when you lay on your arm & the feelings has almost come back but still has a mild numbness to it)

I terrifed the **** outta me just coming on so suddenly and so severely! O_O made me have a little bit of a mini panic attack to say the least!

this happened about an hour or two ago approx.

Any ideas/suggestions as to what it could eb would be very much appreciated thanks :) am a smidge concerned to say the least O_o
