i hope someone here can help. ive tried other sites and im not getting anywhere. as far as i know, im a very healthy 55 y.o. female.
i was told i had psoriasis about two years ago but i still dont believe that was a correct diagnosis. it looked nothing like any psoriasis ive ever seen. another dr. told me i had "two hand one foot" disease, sounds funny and her and i laughed about it but still nothing helped to get rid of it. so i dont think that was a true diagnosis either. well that went away after 14 months. now i have the same thing starting on my hand. itching, tiny bumps and more itching. it was pretty much under control until about 2 months ago. now the itching is sever!!! nothing helps, in fact everything i have tried only makes it itch MORE. then the bumps appear, like hundreds of small bumps all over the back of my hand. and the itching goes from regular severe itching to like waves of shooting pain across the itching part, kind of like an electric shock. makes me shake and shutter from the pain. nothing is helping, it has been lasting about an hour, then two nights ago it lasted an hour and a half and last night it woke me at 2a.m. and hasnt stopped yet and its 6:45 a.m. im crazed with this!!! i havent slept since 2, its affecting my emotional health now. PLEASE, SOMEONE HAS TO KNOW SOMETHING!! if you know of anything please let me know! how to numb it? calm it? something! its to the point that if i had an axe close by i would have chopped off my hand sometime this past 4 hours.
