About 3 days ago I woke up with my left index finger aching. I didn't think much about it until yesterday when the pain worsened and had spread to the rest of my hand. I have not injured my finger, hand, or arm so I was puzzled. Then today I woke up with my hand throbbing and a pins and needles sensation. The pain has spread halfway up my forearm, but remains most severe in the original finger it affected. Also, there is now significant swelling that extends from my hand to my wrist. A friend suggested I might have a spider bite, so I looked and there is some type of almost healed bite on that hand. However, I think spider bites cause more damage to the skin. Normally, I would have gone to the doctor by now about this, but I do not have insurance right now and would like to avoid going if at all possible, especially if it is just a matter of this going away on its own. Anyone have any ideas?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
