I was sitting at the house one afternoon when i noticed my fingertips turning slightly purple. When arriving at the er 20 minutes later the purple had spread. Come to find out i had blood clots. From the elbow down i had no pulse. To find out how bad the clots were they went through my groin to my heart and down my arm injecting dye. They did the same procedure injecting blood clot medicine. However my veins were so small they eventually had to go through the inside of my arm using pediatric leads injecting the medicine. My arm was saved thankfully, a faciatomy was preformed on my arm due to swelling. After 3 months the wounds from the faciatomy are healed however i still have no use of my hand, it still swells and hurts. My fingers are stiff and are impossible to bend. When i try to bend them they sorta shake. My skin on the hand and fingers died and peeled off. I was told this condition is due to the lack of oxygen and blood. Has anyone had a similar experience? My drs cannot figure out why this happened nor can they tell me if my hand will ever be back to a working condition,Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
