I was swimming in a water stream and my right hand came in contact with a broken bottle and suffered a 2 inches cut on the palm. As I did not have facility to get the wound stitched (medical term Sutchring) on the same day, I got it done next day. After two days I developed numbness mainly on ring finger and long finger. I am 45 years old and is there any possibility of getting back sensation in the fingers. I am able to bend and twist fingers without any problems. Any information will be of great help.
