I am right-handed. I work on a computer. I have numbness in my right hand only, which occurs several times a day and when I lay down at night. THe same hand has a "tight" feeling, the fingers want to curl inward, and this feeling is chronic and constant. I stretch the fingers throughout the day to counteract this. The left hand has no symptoms. This condition has been persistent for a few months now. If it is carpal tunnel, why only the right hand?

  • This is not carpal tunnel, I have the exact same thing and to put it simply it is due to using your mouse too much, the muscles in your hand simply get too used to being in that curved position so they get strained, it is not permenant and can be easily fixed by stretching your fingers more often, and laying back on using the mouse so much.
