I am a 37 year old woman who has been experiencing weird symptoms for about 14 years now. It started out as chronic periods of fatigue and pain. I have gone through lengthy periods of time where I was having 12 to 15 migraines a month. Most recently I have suffered with debilitating "nerve" pains that used to feel like burning electrical shocks in my arms and feet paired with severe swelling of my hands at night. This is ongoing for about 2 years now. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, RA, and narcolepsy. I tend to run fevers at night and wake up very sweaty. My main concern at this particular time is that I have had numbness in my right middle finger for 10 days that doesn't seem to be related to anything. No injury, and the blood flow seems fine. I break out in a rash all over my body in response to heat and my skin is itchy all the time, rash or no rash. This becomes worse when I get out of the shower and my skin is damp. At times it is almost unbearable. This rash has been present on and off over the past year. When it flairs up or I am in severe pain I take a week long course of steroids that gets me back to what I will call "my normal" which is not normal at all.
I was just wondering if anyone has any insight on what may be going on here. I have been tested for just about everything under the sun but I think that my doctors are missing something.
I currently take Cymbalta, tramadol, Nuvigil, and plaquenil and still the hits just keep coming.
