I am a male, 18 years old, and have never had/never noticed this problem before. In the last few months I seem to be losing more hair than normal. I towel dry my hair and I always lose at least 20 hairs in the process. I can reach up and pull out several hairs from the top of my haid without feeling much pain.
I know this hasn't always been the case as I have sisters who, when we were younger, used to pull my hair and believe me, it didn't want to come out and hurt like ***l!
I am healthy in all other regards. I don't have any conditions/illnesses/etc., except perhaps "sun-sneeze syndrome" which drives me nuts, but I don't think is particulary important in this case.
My family does have a pretty severe history of male baldness on both sides of the family, but I'm only 18! This isn't supposed to be happening to me now! Are there any other reasons I could be experiencing hair loss? The thing I'm most worried about is if it's symptomatic of something more severe. Any help greatly appreciated.
