Hi. I'm a 24 year old female and I've had this very greasy patch of hair at the top of my head for over a year now. The grease just does not come out. Over the past year I've changed shampoos, stopped using conditioner, washed it with vinegar and dishwash soap too. Absolutely nothing has worked!
And it came out of nowhere. When I first noticed it I thought I hadn't washed my hair properly only to realize a while later that it was this stubborn grease that seemed to be oozing out of my scalp!
I started getting this hair treatment done at the salon where they'd steam my hair, it made the grease come out and then it won't come back for at least a few weeks after. But after the last time I got it done, it came back after the first wash, so I can only imagine it's getting worse. Also, the patch itself is bigger than when it first started. And the grease is thicker and stickier.
It's extremely distressful having to have my hair tied up in a bun all the time, and it feels unclean too.
