  • dandruff is usually as a result of dry scalp which simply means a lack of moisture.although many ppl hate it you should drink the recommended 8 glasses of water perday to keep your body hydrated because when it isn't it seeks water wherever it can.then u can get a good moisturising line(heard head & shoulders is good for that or selsun blue) and a good scalp moisturiser or conditioner(garnier fructis has great new line) and keep massaging it into ur hair about every other day until luubricated becomes the natural state of your hair and then u can do it once or twice a week. ps.when u massage ur scalp it helps with blood flow.hope this helps.

  • I'm really sorry that you are having this experience..I would not wish it upon my enemy but perhaps I can help! I also had persistent ithing, flacking, dandruff, and scaling of the scalp. And let me tell you, if your condiiton is anything like the way mine was...there is probably NOTHING that you can purchase in the store that can fix the problem. The different shampoos are just temporary bandaid solution. GO TO YOUR DOCTOR. They will proscribe you a cream and shampoo that is only available by prescription and will clear it up within a week! As for the hair loss..my hair loss was extreme, most likely due to the fact that I was scratching so much. What ended up saving me were these vitamins specially formulated to jumpstart the hair growth progress and stop hair loss immediately. The vitamins are something like horizonns essentials or something like that, but here is the site.... www.horizonshaircare.com Please don't give up you can stop the flaking and grow your hair back..if I did it so can you! Good luck!!!!

  • Yes, now-a-days dandruff is such a common problem for both men and women. I myself have been suffering from dandruff for such a long time. Visited so many doctors, used various medicines, but, all in vain :( The results were all momentary. If I skipped using them once or twice, dandruff used to come back again. O my God :o It was so irritating with itchy scalp which led to hair loss as well. One of my friends suggested me to go for herbal dandruff treatment which didn’t have any side effect. Now my hair is absolutely free from dandruff. They have got back their shine and growing healthy again.:) Hair fall has reduced to its normal rate.

  • For killing Dandruff problem... Herbal treatment is better and is being preffered over conventional treatment because -It treats deseases which have no cure in conventional treatment,it has less side effects and the cure is more permanent in the sense that there are less incidence of relapses.I just heard of mamaherb, a site which gathers all details about coconut milk which is used for dissolving dandruff and I hope it’ll help you.

  • i had the same problem, for dandruff what i did was apply lemon directly on my scalp. It burned and itched like **** the first time. So you could use diluted lemon juice instead. After applying that i kinda just massaged my head so that the lemon juice reaches everywhere (i was bang on removing the dandruff problem). After about an hour or so i washed my hair. There was hair loss and i totally expected. It was the weak malnourished hair that fell off. i did this every 3 days. The second time it didn't burn that bad which i thought was sign of the dandruff going away. Everyday at night i massaged my hair with a natural herbal hair oil and in the morning used to wash it water as much as possible and then apply little shampoo to take the greasiness off.Applying curds is also good as they act as conditioners and give your hair the shine and fuller look they need. It also helps in the keeping the scalp cool which repulses dandruff.

  • I strongly recommend taking Biotin. Biotin is actually Vitamin H which is part of the B Complex group of vitamins. When used daily, Biotin is a key component in maintaining healthy blood sugar and has been linked to cosmetic benefits such as reducing hair loss and repairing brittle nails. If you're not sure what biotin brand to take, I would suggest biotin from Hercules Vitamins.

  • You are totally right. Hair fall is a sign of iron deficiency so one must consider iron in their daily diet. In addition, taking vitamin H is also known as biotin really helps in maintaining a healthy hair. I've been taking Hercules Biotin for almost a year now and everyday I'm getting great results. Iron combined with this supplement really helps in achieving a healthy hair.

  • Dandruff can be treated with the use of anti-dandruff shampoo, but hair fall can be a bigger problem. If you have persistent hair fall, you should visit a good doctor for that. Advanced Hair Studio has a skilled set of specialists, and they also have a variety of hair treatments. Visit the clinic once, to get your scalp checked.
