I'm a 21 year old female. I have an underactive thyroid. I have only half my thyroid. Just had a baby three weeks ago. Had a issues afterwards from the epuidral but am better now. I have had different symptoms off and on some for many years and some newer ones. The symptoms i have had off and on are belly pain, leg pain, eye pain, head pain, hip pain, wrist pain, arm pain, ankle pain, knee pain ,not being able to get up on my own, and having to have help to get to move around. I back pain that is their every day and the pain varys though out the day. I also have felt weak, like my body is heavy, dizzy spells every now and then, and treid all the time. I also have had times where it felt like my body was having small spasms and where it felt like i couldn't breath. I have told my docters who i have seen but they don't know. the dr in albion didn't know. the dr in rochester didn't know and because the blood work he did was normal he said it was just in my mind. I know that i don't feel good. Lets put it this way i am embarassed at times because i can't move and need help to get up or i need help to get to the bathroom or i need help to feed myselves because i'm feeling so weak that my body just won't move. I just want to figure out why i feel like this. It seems as time goes on anther symptom appers. also i have had bruising i can't explain off and on. When i have the bruising episodes i not have a bruise in that spot but then i would. please if anybody has an ideal tell me. sign hannah

  • possibly chronic fatigue syndrome if your thyriod issue is being treated properly and it's not that. Many with CFS have coexisting hypothyriodism. CFS often causes weakness, body pains including eye pain, spasms and sometimes breathing issues. It can be a slow progressive issue (or hit a person rapidly). http://wwcoco.com/cfids/bernesx.html for a good list of the various symptoms. Unfortuantly the CDC says that 80% of CFS patients remain undiagnosed. This is cause most doctors arent familiar enough with the illness to be giving diagnosis as they aint up to date with the info on it.

  • In response to the bruising, I’ve been using this stuff on my kids for a while that’s been working great. They both play soccer so they get cuts and bruises on their legs often, not to mention they’re just generally rough when they play. I was reffered to this stuff called bruiseMD (you can find it through google) by another mother at school. The ingredients are all natural and it works quickly so it’s a great bruise remedy. Hope that helps!
