I'm an 18 year old athlete, I've been playing sports for years and running cross country and track for four years now. Just recently I started experiencing some odd symptoms that I can't help but think are related somehow. I've always had a problem with shaking and trembling after workouts, more than the usual runner, but about two months ago I began to have shakes and trembles on days I didn't work out. I would have problems with everyday things such as holding a piece of paper steady while trying to read. About three weeks ago I began to lose my appetite, which is very unusual as I have a very high metabolism and am always hungry. I lost a large amount of weight since then (I went from a size three to a size 0 in 3 weeks) and started having trouble running and worse shakes than before. My past few workouts I've been experiencing vertigo during and immediately after each repeat, my times are still about normal but it takes much more effort and a larger toll than normal. Three days before I started getting the vertigo I developed a headache. The pain feels like it's located right where the frontal and parietal lobes meet. The headache has not gone away since. Any thoughts?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
