I have been experiencing several symptoms for years now and no one seems to know why. I came here hoping someone would perhaps be experiencing similar symptoms and could give me some guidance. Here's my story...
I am 21 years old and have had ADHD for almost 10 years now. I have been taking Adderall 25mg for years now and I definitely notice an improvement in my concentration since taking it. I only mention this because I'm not sure if any of my symptoms are relevant to my condition.
Here are the symptoms I am experiencing:
- I have constant headaches, I wouldn't call them migraines, just very bad headaches.
- Probably 80% of the time, my head is extremely sore. I really don't know how to explain it other than it feels as if someone is pulling my hair constantly, it's almost a burning feeling that I feel when someone even touches my head.
- I feel/hear little "popping bubbles" is the only way I know to describe it in my head. I've been told they are nitrogen bubbles.
- Over the past year or so, I have noticed that I have developed several motor tics. At times it feels as if there is an overwhelming urge to turn my head to the side or to look down. I believe this may be from the Adderall. It's extremely embarassing.
I don't know if any of these symptoms are related. I've been to several doctors, I've had procedures done such as spinal taps, etc and no one seems to know what it is. I really hope someone out there is experiencing similar symptoms so I can feel as if I'm not crazy!
Thanks in advance. I hope someone can help!
