Hello, some background info. Suffering from fatigue and sometimes lightheadidness and dizziness for over a week. I live in Southeast, Texas and recently the weather got pretty cold (maybe sinuses...). I have visited two doctors and a cardiologist, both have told me I am ok and I need to stay hydrated, but I am not dehydrated, and that my liver enzymes are high and some are low or something like that, nothing serious..., anyways I wake up ok and then I start to move around and I get tired and a little dizzy, if i sit at my computer for a while I get tired. Only way to relieve being tired is to lay down and have a humidifier and get caffeine in me and then I have bursts of energy. I have looked up mono and diabetes and others but still I dont think I have them or the doctors would have said something...O BTW I am 16 and male. Please help me!!! Any suggestions?

  • Hello,I'm sorry to hear that you're suffering from some of the same symptons that I'am. I can't do anything hardly. I can get dress in the mornings and need to go lay down and rest before doing anything else for example. I also have palpatations ( Tachycardia and SVT). I also blank out without no warning. I have seen doctors and they have no clue. I hope that you get some relief soon. Fatigue in SC

Any suggestions? An Accupuncturist or Naturopath would take your symptoms more seriously than your doctors are. Just because they are dismissive of your suffering, doesn't mean you have to accept that as final. Was there any incident besides the weather that you can think of? Have the doctors checked your inner ears? Get your results from your doctors and take them to a Naturopath. I'm not joking. Save yourself (sometimes years of) frustration and go to alternative medicine; especially when your doctors give up or act like it's just your lot in life to bear. BTW, when they say "nothing serious" about your liver results, I would take that as a red flag! Nothing serious perhaps for an AVERAGE of the population (which is probably how they view it), but you are not an AVERAGE. Their "high" and "low" (and which is which is important) may be what is normal for you, but who can say? Get way more info on that. My guess is that your liver is having a hard time for some reason.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liver_function_testsGo to that website to read up on liver results. It will be Greek until you can read YOUR results and compare, but there you go!

  • Hello, do you have a copy of the blood results? look at some of the simple things also. what have you been eating? any changes in your diet? look at the potassium level and try to eat nutritional, not a doctor, just a suggestion.

  • Wow its been a while since I posted, but I pretty much have narrowed it to blood sugar problems and I can maintain ok with a steady intake of food. I still get fatigued sometimes, but not as severe as long as I eat right. Well I still need to go visit a doctor again to ask him some questions but I will be alright, I appreciate all the input.
