I have noticed this pattern occuring every 3 months over the last 2 years...
Every 3-4 months I will wake up with a severe headache, feels like a sinus headache...nasal passages really dry...I then proceed to have severe vomiting and diarrhea over the next 4-6 hours, typically vomiting 3-5 times. There is delirium but no apparent fever. It feels like a toxic reaction. All I know is if I stand up, I feel horrible, when I lay down I feel some comfort inbetween the vomiting...Then it is over just as suddenly...usually by that afternoon...I am weak but I feel fine..actually craving food...
The things I thought had involvement were wine, pork... but I stopped drinking wine, and the last time this occured I had chicken in the crock-pot. I also thought that since my nasal passages were really dry that I might have had a sinus drain and the mucous is what caused the reaction in my stomach...? Now I am reading about candida die off but those symptoms seem to be spread out over days...
Thank you in advance for any information.

  • Having been there, from what you describe, you are having migraines. You might be reacting to food allergies or to other allergies taht are also affecting your sinuses. Try and make your living environment allergen and dust free as possible.

  • Thank you for the response. I agree with you about the possibility of it being an allergic reaction. We did install an air cleaner in our hvac system not too long ago. The impression I have is that my body is rejecting something ...vigorously.lb
