Hi, I'm 21 and my doctor has just told me I have chronic fatigue syndrome.
I have almost all the symptoms, for months I have had a sore throat ( I even had my tonsils out), been completely tired, aching, had headaches, dizziness etc, just like I have the flu. But when it all started I kept getting throat infections and at the same time stiff joints with red itchy lumps coming up where my joints protruded such as my knees, ankles and wrists. Now i don't really get the lumps but at night time my knees and fingers swell up and go red. They ache all the time. I have had all the blood tests such as rheumatoid and glandular fever.
Can someone please help? I would much appreciate it. Aching joints are symptoms of CFS but not redness and swelling.
I feel like I will never get better.
