Hope someone can help.

I am 42, in good health and have given up smoking. For the past 6 months i have had a pain that started on the right hand side of my lower stomach (the part that joins the thigh) It is like a dull ache and is always there. Recently it has got a lot worse and is now getting unbearable. When I lie down it eases slightly. I have also noticed that I am getting the same thing on the left side too but but quite as bad.

It is a weird feeling, like a pressure, not sore to push, just aches.

I had a hernia before and had it sorted. It is like that sort of pain but I can feel no lumps.

I have a general feeling of not being well.

Any ideas?

  • Nice to see there was a rush to answer. Went to Docs last night and it turns out I have a double hernia.
