Hi: I am new here. I am having a variety of problems--very frequent viral-like infections, menstrual periods that run for seven days and then immediately restart, fatigue, early morning awakening, and most of all, severe night sore throats with swollen glands. Sometimes the sore thraots turn into short-lived colds in the daytime, but then the cold disappears, I think I'm well, and at night the sore throat returns with a vengeance. My body temperature is often low even though I feel feverish and clammy. I also have hip pain and, periodically, irritable bowel syndrome. My MD has given me x-rays (chest and hip), every kind of blood test (thyroid appears okay, red and white blood cell counts and sed rates apparently normal), abdominal ultrasound, uterine biopsy, and things keep coming back "normal" (though the biopsy showed no cancer, it says my uterus is "disordered," kind of a vague analysis). If anybody has an idea of what this constellation of symptoms could indicate, I would greatly appreciate hearing about it.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
