Kind of a jumble of things so I will put them in bullets. If you need any clarification, I'll be happy to provide further details.
*Mid November - persistent cough, no congestion.
Sinusitis - This hung on and I started getting symptoms of sinusitis. Fullness in head, waking up with headaches, general feeling of crapiness. Coughing fits awakened me int he middle of the night. Lots of mucus.
There was a day that I almost fainted. Vision went black, hearing sounded far away.. and I had to brace myself until I recovered.. about 30 seconds. Scary for me.
*Mid December - went to doctor for the first time to treat the sinusitis that wouldn't go away. He gave me codeine cough syrup and zithromax? I think. 5 day course of antibiotics.
*5th day of the antibiotics I woke up feeling achey. Went to mall with my mother and all of a sudden felt really hot. Had to leave the store and again my vision went black, hearing sounded far away. I sat down on the floor and broke into a cold sweat. Mother said my face looked flushed.
*About a week later, out of nowhere I felt really nauseous and vomited. Didn't feel better after vomiting. Woke up the next morning still feeling shaky/weak. By the end of the day I felt fine (sinusitis symptoms persisted though). This brings us to January...
*Have had frequent headaches on the left side of my head above my eyebrow. These often put me out of commission for the day.
*I was going to make another doctor's appointment for last week to get possibly more antibiotics for my sinusitis, but congestion-wise I feel fine. My head still feels full, though. And I'm still getting headaches.
*This morning I woke up with another headache. Felt nauseated and spent most of the morning in the bathroom. Vomited. Lost my appetite until just now. I stil lhave a slight headache and I no longer feel nauseated.
*In the 2 almost passing out incidents , I was not dizzy or disoriented.. because I couldn't see.
I frequently get headaches. I'm not sure if they're migraines, but they are very sharp and almost always above my left eyebrow. Sensitivity to light and sound.
I use MonoNessa birth control and take 50 mg of Zoloft. The Zoloft is for Social Anxiety however I have never ever had a panic attack.
Also, if it's at all useful, I have moderate to severe TMJD.
So has it just been a bad couple of months of things one on top of each other or is there any chance they are related? I have a slight inkling that "something" is wrong...
