I've had about 6 or 7 of these "attacks" now, all of a sudden out of nowhere my body will start trembling and shaking as if I am really cold and my temperature will go below what a digital ear themometer will record - it just flashers up low! During the attacks I feel as if I am drawling out words, but my partner assures me that i sound normal!
These 6 or 7 attacks have been over the past month or so, I have had blood tests for diabetes, kidney function and thyroid and they came back as normal.
My partner has suggested that maybe I am having panic attacks, but from what I have read about panic attacks the only thing I am having in common with them is the shaking - no sense of sudden death, no hyperventilating, no sweats etc either.
I am at a loss as to what to do now, I don't really want to visit the doctor again as I dont really have anything concrete to offer, but the problem is the more I put it off and try to self diagnose online the more worrying the possibles causes I find are.
For example I have had constipation issues for about the same period of time and when you add that to my symptoms it then comes up with a possible cause of TIA's or strokes which is very worrying indeed! I have also had huge problems with word selection recently as well, being unable to think of words in order to complete a sentence from time to time!
I suppose I shall visit the doctor, but as it is 3 in the morning and I have just had another one of these "attacks" then I guess I am just venting my fears at the moment as there is nothing else I can do!
If anyone does have any advice or suggestions I would be grateful to hear them.
